The master of search engines, Google launched a pay per click video ad scheme through its network recently. Just like the normal text ads, advertisers bid to have their ad placed on the search engine and will in turn be charged when a viewer clicks on the Google video ads. Many critics feel that this form of advertisement will not find favor with advertisers, viewers or publishers alike. It is believed that Google has decided not to place these ads on their own officially administered sites immediately this may be due to the fact that viewers were avers to clicking on these ads because of the intrusive nature of Google video ads. People prefer to click on the less intrusive text ads or flash ads. Once a Google Video Ad starts the viewer has no choice but to go through the entire advertisement. Google video ads are still testing the waters of the advertisement industry on the Internet before really going all out to market these advertisement techniques. Whatever the result, without Google search advertisers will not be interested in the Google video ads. Besides this clicking on a Google video ad does not take you to some web site, in fact, you are tied to an ROI where no action occurs instead you just have to sit through the video until it ends. AdSense form Google is something else as it results in sales. Though the Internet is making multimedia as easy as counting 123, advertisers are still very interested in plain, simple text ads.

Potential customers want to be able to turn off an advertisement when they want to. Having to sit through a commercial until it ends is noting but encroaching on ones privacy. This form of advertisement will definitely get the company a lot of bad publicity and even f the person wants the product that the advertisement is promoting the sheer thought of the company forcing their advertisement onto their viewers may prove a deterring factor for any one to patronize that company. Besides people will not want to advertise on The Internet with this forma of advertising because the customer must have the power to skip the advertisement. Small businesses already have the option of buying video ads on television and other media. Companies such as Orange County do create video ads much like Google Video Ads but they do keep the sentiments of their viewers in mind. Orange County can also create video ads at very low budgets for even the smallest of businesses and air them on the local channels for as low as 44 dollars. Orange County can produce very interactive media advertisements that are both luring and attractive to the potential customer.
